I'm a workout fanatic, and like I said in one of my past post, Dragon Ball Z inspired me to step up my intensity. Yeah I know it was just a cartoon, but everything is what you make it. I chose to look at it as motivation.
For those who don't know, Dragonball Z was your classic save the Earth from invading aliens cartoon. The hero, Goku, was super alien that fought to save the Earth, but sometimes he was definitely outmatched. Well, of course to get stronger he worked out! We will look at some of the workouts that Goku did and see how we can emulate them. It's gonna be fun! This week's is....
Gravity on King Kai's Planet
During the show Goku ends up going to King Kai's planet. This planet had significantly stronger gravity than what he was use to on Earth's. This made for great training. As the Dragon Ball Wiki says,
As part of Goku's training he tells him to chase his pet monkey Bubbles, who happens to be very fast and has adjusted to the planet's gravity. After three weeks, Goku caught Bubbles. He then instructed him to hit his pet cricket, Gregory on the head with a heavy mallet. In time Goku accomplised this as well. Goku soon found that chasing Bubbles increased his speed greatly, and attempting to hit Gregory increased his strength massively.
It was to expensive for me to find a way to train on another planet so I came up with another idea. I bought a weight vest to emulate the gravity and chased my dog around the yard; please don't judge me. Whenever you wear weights for a while and take them off you feel so much faster. The problem is finding a weight vest or ankle weights that fit well. You want to get one that's snug enough but has enough weight to challenge you. Nice idea. I laughed a little at the image of someone chasing their dog around, but to acquire groundbreaking strength, sometimes you have to think beyond the conventional I always say.
Anyway, I've got an idea for endurance.
Remember during the cell saga, Goku was training Gohan to hold onto the transformed state of being a super saiyan?
Hold a V-Sit position for a long time. Bruce Lee used to "hold a v-sit position for 30 minutes or longer".

Anyway, hope you're still working out and it went well for you.
even better than chasing your dog around would be if your back yard has a fence, and you have a pet rabbit, chase it around. there are all these football teams in Florida that send their running backs to fields and to catch rabbits. They will catch like 50 in a day and it is a great workout for speed and agility. you might have to work your way up to the weights though
